【 Weak current College 】 deleting stubborn files system
An old saying goes, please God, God cannot easily get out of a need to install some software, when you no longer need to use them, such as illegal deletion, software illegal shutdown, software bugs, and other aspects of their own, often appears that the software cannot be uninstalled or removed incomplete; sometimes we delete a file or folder, cannot delete the system prompt, this is indeed a headache, now we'll look at a solution.
I. General solutions
1. cancellation or restart the computer, and then try to delete.
2. to remove the "safe mode".
3. in a pure DOS command line using DEL, DELTREE and RD command to delete it.
4. If the folder has more subdirectories or files cannot be deleted, you can delete the folder of the subdirectories and files, and then delete the folder.
5. If you are in the "Add or remove programs" option to uninstall a software found software installation directory still exists, it remains a few files, and delete, but prompt file is in use and cannot be deleted.
At this point you can first open the "command prompt" window, press "Ctrl + Alt + Del" key combination to open Task Manager, the process will "explorer.exe" process to close down (in which all the procedures before it is best to close off), switch to the command prompt window, use the DOS command to enter the folder cannot be deleted, enter "Del folder name" you can delete the folder. Remove finished, in the Task Manager, select "file → new task", enter "explorer.exe" rebuild the system shell.
Second, advanced solutions
1. disk errors
Run a disk scan and scan files, scan before determining the partition has chosen repair files and bad sectors, a full scan of all options, and then delete the file after scanning.
2. prefetching mechanisms
Some video, image file playback is interrupted or are unable to remove the preview would create. In the "run" in the box: REGSVR32/USHMEDIA.DLL, log off off prefetching feature. Or in the registry to remove [HKEY_
LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\ {87D62D94-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850DC73E} \InProcServer32] key. You can then delete the file.
3. firewall
Because anti-virus software in virus checking will result in the removal happens when the prompt file is in use, then you can try to stop or close it and then delete.
4.Office, WPS series software
Office, WPS illegal close may result in the file cannot be deleted or renamed. Rerun the program, and then shut down properly, and then delete the file.
5. use WinRAR
Right-click the folder you want to delete, and select "add to zip file". In the pop-up dialog box, select the delete source files after the "compression," feel free to write a package name, click on "OK" button.
6. a permissions problem
If Windows2000/XP/2003 systems, please make sure you have permission to delete this file or folder.
7. remove the executable files
When performing a file of image or program that calls the DLL dynamic link library also in memory is not freed, delete will prompt file is in use, the workaround is to remove the DOS system page file (Win386.SWP Win98, Win2000 in is/XP is pagefile.sys).
8. file shredding method
Use the file shredder, such as Windows optimization guru or FilePulverizer, can completely remove some stubborn files.
9. with the help of small software-WhoLockMe
After installing, WhoLockMe can right-click menu to find "who locked up on me?" option by clicking on it, you can see who is calling file, press the "end process" to call off the program, then you can easily delete any unneeded files.
10. clear the software after uninstalling the residual items
From the Control Panel's "Add or remove programs" to uninstall the software, the software is uninstalled, but in the "Add/Remove Programs" still has it, though it does not affect system operation, but always felt very awkward, and how to completely remove it?
Method 1: remember the software name, to the Windows\System folder to find its corresponding CPL files (for each deleted item corresponding to this a CPL files, CPL files deleted deleted items is lost), after deleting the corresponding item in the control panel will disappear.
Method 2: start the registry editor. Navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersin\Uninstall], select the application you want to delete, right-click the program name can be deleted.
11. clean WinXP comes with program
For system bundled programs, when the "delete or add program" could not find the uninstall option is available under the Notepad to open the C:\WINDOWS\inf "Sysoc.inf" file, use the Replace function to replace the "hide""," (Without the quotation marks), restart the computer after you save, the "Add/Remove Programs" in the MediaPlayer etc system comes with the program of the deleted item.
